Term 2

Term 2 is a big one for us at Elevation Dance Studios, as our senior school prepares for our annual Mid Year Showcase and our Junior school commences their preparation for our end of year production. It is a very exciting time for us and we look forward to seeing you all in the studio.

Things to know about Term 2:

1. Your current enrolments will automatically roll over into Term 2, so there is no need to re-enrol. If you would like to add or change anything about your current class schedule, we need to be notified prior to your invoice being sent out. The cut off for any class changes is Thursday the 21st of March and each change that takes place after this date will incur a $10 admin fee.

2. If your child is involved in our Mid Year Showcase, there will be a concert invoice sent out early Term 2. This invoice will include your Costume Hire Fee ($45 per class), Footage Fee ($37 per family) and the Dress Rehearsal Fee ($35 per student).

3. Attendance is incredibly important during this term, however we understand things do come up e.g. illness, family holidays etc. If you could please email us at info@elevationdancestudios.com.au with notice of absences this would be greatly appreciated. This is to accomodate lesson plans.

4. Drop off and Pick up: Whilst construction continues in Lobb Street for the foreseeable future, can we ask that parents escort students to and from the studio. Please ensure they have street shoes on, when leaving, as there is debris all around the area at present. We also ask that everyone continues to avoid parking in our neighbours/ our car park and be mindful of keeping your cars running whilst waiting for your children. You are most welcome to come and wait inside our lovely studio.

Important Info:

The In- House Soirée will take place in two Acts, please see which act your child is performing in below:

Act 1: VCE In House Skills and Comp Solo

Time: 2:45-3:30pm

Students involved: VCE Dance Class

Location: Studio 2

Act 2: Singing and Musical Theatre Performance

Time: 3:40- 4:30pm

Students involved: All Singing students and Pre Inter/ Inter Musical Theatre class

Location: Studio 4

Both of these performances will be held at the studio in their respective spaces. As we will be limited by both space and seating options, we do ask that only 2 people attend per family.

MYS Info pack:

There will be an all inclusive MYS pack that will be sent out to families who are involved in this production early Term 2.

MYS Invoices need to be paid in full in order to receive your costumes.
