To celebrate Mother’s Day, Alex, our Principal, would love to invite all EDS Mums and Grandmothers to enjoy a complimentary dance class created just for you.

This will be a fun, engaging and approachable class designed for all levels, whether you have dance experience or are stepping into the studio for the very first time. It is all about moving your body, having fun and taking a moment for yourself.

Come ready to dance, wear something you feel comfortable moving in, expect to get a little sweaty and leave feeling energised and uplifted.

Our Annual Mid Year Showcase (MYS) takes place in June and is a highlight of our dance calendar. This special event showcases our senior school in a wonderful evening of entertainment, inspiration and creativity, performed at the Clocktower Centre.

This is a must see event, offering a unique opportunity to experience the energy and excitement of live performance in a professional theatre setting. Our senior students shine on stage, demonstrating their hard work, dedication and artistry in a truly inspiring environment.

The showcase is not only a celebration of their achievements, but also incredibly beneficial for our younger students, giving them a clear vision of what is possible as they progress through their training.

We encourage all families to come along and support our dancers while enjoying an unforgettable evening.

During week 9 we would like to welcome our R.A.D families to come and watch our classes. The students have been working incredibly hard on their technique and syllabus work and we would love for you to come and help celebrate their progress. It is open to all R.A.D classes from Pre Primary all the way up to Advanced Foundation.

Viewing Week is a wonderful opportunity for parents and guardians to step inside the studio and experience the progressive structure, hard work, and artistry that goes into each class. You’ll be able to see how students apply their technique, build strength and coordination, and develop confidence through the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus.

We kindly ask that all guests arrive on time, remain respectful of the class environment, and avoid disruptions so that students can perform at their best. Photography and filming is not allowed.

We look forward to sharing this special experience with you and celebrating the dedication and progress of our dancers.

Open Week is an exciting opportunity for both our current students and new families to explore something new in the final week of Term 2. Following the success of our Mid Year Showcase, we have had a lot of interest from students eager to try a different style as they prepare for Term 3, and this week is designed to make that possible.

Students are invited to step outside their usual class and experience another genre, helping them build confidence, versatility, and a broader love for dance in a supportive environment.

To secure your place in your chosen class, you must enrol online and select “Open Week” from the drop down box on the enrolment form - this will be visible later this term. Please note that spaces are limited, and once a class reaches capacity, it will be closed.

If your preferred class is already full, we encourage you to reach out to us so we can help you find another suitable option.
